What is Clipboard History?

Clipboard history is a feature in Windows 10 and 11 that keeps track of the last 25 items you copied, from text to images under 4 MB. You can retrieve these items as needed without having to re-copy them each time, which is especially useful for multitasking or handling repetitive tasks.

How to Enable Clipboard History

1. Open Settings:

• Press Windows Key + I to open Settings.

2. Navigate to Clipboard Settings:

• Go to System > Clipboard.

3. Enable Clipboard History:

• In the Clipboard settings, locate the Clipboard History toggle and switch it On.

4. Activate Clipboard History with a Shortcut:

• Once enabled, you can access your clipboard history anytime by pressing Windows Key + V.
